Call for Artists/ BIG GA/GI Updates Coming Soon....

Whew! We've been so busy, we haven't had a moment to blog! Too much fabulousness going on--including a new logo design by the Cotton Factory's Tee Rex--to make GA/GI 2011 the most fashionable fest in the city! (The one shown here is doing a cameo) Stay tuned for the BIG REPORT in the next few weeks!

for the Geek Art/Green Innovators
FESTIVAL 2

Last year the GA/GI Fest (pronounced GAh-gee) made history as Pittsburgh's first art, eco and technology festival. We were proud to be one of the key events kicking off World Environment Day and our program of over 150 artists, scientists and green inventors showcased the gamut of wonder to be explored in these diverse but  verycompatible industries. This year, GA/GI looks forward to bringing even more brain expanding projects and people to light.

We are currently looking for eco experiments and programs, mega cool robotics, blending of art and science, art related to scientific study, university projects and programs and trends in the green and technology industry; performance and dance and fashion that will enhance these themes. Please send a brief outline of your idea along with images, links and a bio to Christine,
GA/GI Festival Director: gagifest.gmail.com
